Formula;
48% arrowroot powder
25% sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI)
15% french clay
10% matcha powder
2% chamomile powder
Directions;
combine all ingredients in and mix together
using a funnel pour into a plastic bottle
ph adjusting; no ph adjusting needed
Benefits/Purpose of each ingredient
arrowroot powder - filler. It can also help soften skin, balance oil production and help with blemishes
sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI) - cleansing agent
french clay - texturizer. This will help thicken the face wash a bit to make it easier to spread on the skin. It can also help with unclogging pores, tightening skin and can help control oil production.
matcha powder - high in antioxidants and is great for all skin types. It has anti aging properties, it can improve complexion, and reduce inflammation.
chamomile powder - gentle exfoliator
Substitutions;
substituting ingredients will change the final feel, viscosity, and overall effect of final product. percentages and formulating procedure may need to change with substitutions.
arrowroot powder - corn starch
sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI) - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA)
french clay - any other clay
matcha powder - leave out or use another powdered ingredient
chamomile powder - leave out or use another powdered ingredient
