Formula;
phase A
5% glycerin
0.2% xanthan gum soft
67.8% distilled water
5% cucumber hydrosol
phase B
2% sepimax zen
2% cetyl alcohol
10% caprylic capric triglyceride
1.5% menthol crystals
phase C
0.5% liquid germall plus
2% oat extract
2% aloe vera extract
2% bisabolol
Directions;
begin by mixing together the xanthan gum and glycerin in phase A and then add in the distilled water and cucumber hydrosol and mix until thickened.
combine all ingredients in phase B and mix
cover both beakers and place into a water bath.
mix phase B every once in a while to help dissolve the menthol crystals.
note; the sepimax zen will not dissolve fully until mixed with immersion blender.
once the cetyl alcohol is melted in phase B and both phases are around the same temperature you can pour phase A into phase B and mix with immersion blender
make sure you mix in all of the sepimax zen.
once cooled to under 100°f add in all the ingredients in phase C
check ph and adjust to between 4.5 - 5.5
pour into desired container. I used a squeeze bottle.
pH adjusting; the natural pH of my product was 5.46 so I did not adjust the pH.
