Luxurious Pumpkin Body Scrub (No Oil Separation & Melt Proof) Exclusive 10/26

Directions:
Begin with a sanitized heat safe beaker. (you want to use one that is tall and narrow) and add in the SapoGel Q. Using and Overhead Stirrer mix the SapoGel Q until it turns smooth and glossy. It should turn from a clear liquid to an opaque liquid.

Slowly start adding in the Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. Only add in a small amount at a time and wait for it to fully mix in before adding in more. Repeat this process slowly until all of the Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is incorporated. Then add in the Pumpkin Seed Oil, ORG. At this time you can start adding in the oil faster and in larger quantities. (Once you have at least 10% of the oil incorporated into the SapoGel Q, it's much more stable to work with.)

Once Phase A is all fully homogenized & thickened into a thick fluid gel, remove from the Overhead Stirrer.
In a separate heat safe beaker, combine all the ingredients in phase B and heat to melt. At this time you also want to heat your phase A to around the same temperature. (we only need to heat phase A so it doesn't cause the waxes to clump when we add in phase B)

Once phase B is fully melted and phase A is around the same temp you can pour phase A into B and mix well.
Place back under the Overhead Stirrer to mix as it cools. At this time you can add in the mica powder. I used Marigolds Mica Blend from MadMicas.com

Once it returns to 100°F/40°C you can add in the Glycerin, Pumpkin (Glycerite) Extract, Preservative PE, Vitamin E T-50, & Pumpkin Pie Spice Fragrance Oil. Once fully incorporated, removed from the Overhead Stirrer.

I poured the scrub base into a sanitized mixing bowl and added in the Cane Sugar and mixed with a spatula. (it will be way to thick to mix with the Overhead Stirrer) Cover and let cool over night before filling jars. No need to check and adjust pH since this is an anhydrous product.
