Turmeric Under Eye Jelly Mask w/ vitamin A B3 B5 C & E (exclusive)

All ingredients in this formula are naturally derived or Ecocert approved besides the preservative liquid germall plus. This product is great for all skin types.


Formula;

phase A

Directions;

  • combine all ingredients in phase A and mix. If you want to add color to your product you can mix in mica powder at this phase. I used orange mica powder

  • next work on phase B and combine all ingredients in a separate beaker and mix until combined.

  • pour phase B into phase A and mix until thickened.

  • check and balance ph to 4.5-5.5 then package in jar.

How to use;

Apply a generous coat under eyes or all over face. Leave on for 10-20 minutes or until dry and rinse. Can also be used as an over night mask or under eye mask. If used as an over night mask gently pat mask into skin until fully absorbed and rinse off in the morning.


Benefits/Purpose of each ingredient

glycerin - humectant that hydrates the skin

xanthan gum soft - helps thicken and gel the mask. I don't recommend any other kind of xanthan gum other than xanthan gum soft.

turmeric hydrosol - offers the gorgeous aroma of turmeric and is said to help with relieving bruising, swelling, and related pain.

turmeric extract - may help keep skin soft and smooth, make skin glow, produce a fairer complexion & remove blemishes such as reduce pigmentation.

FSS Vitamin AB3B5CE Liposome PF - is a water soluble ingredient offering the benefits of retinol, panthenol, niacinamide, vitamin C and vitamin E. This ingredient makes it easy to formulate products packed full of vitamins that can sometimes be hard to formulate with.

Substitutions;

substituting ingredients will change the final feel, viscosity, and overall effect of final product. percentages and formulating procedure may need to change with substitutions.

  • glycerin - propanedial, propylene glycol or other humectant but make sure it can hydrate the xanthan gum well.

  • xanthan gum soft - sepimax zen or another gelling agent like siligel, caesalpinia spinosa gum, agar gum etc. The texture may be different than mine if you use anything different.

  • turmeric hydrosol - any other hydrosol or use distilled water

  • turmeric extract - any other extract of choice.

  • FSS vitamin AB3B5CE liposome - no sub

  • liquid germall plus - any other water soluble preservative like optiphen plus or euxyl PE 9010
