Formula;
phase A
5% glycerin
phase B
56% distiled water
10% rose water
10% lavender water
10% foaming apple
Directions;
combine all ingredients in phase A and mix until combined.
combine all ingredients in phase B an mix
pour phase B into phase A and mix until thickened and smooth
check and balance ph to 3.5 - 5.5
let sit overnight and package next day
Benefits/Purpose of each ingredient
glycerin - humectant that draws moisture to skin and helps hydrate xanthan gum
xanthan gum soft - thickens wash
rose water - adds a natural rose scent and helps soothe skin
lavender water - has calming effects while it soothes skin and offers a natural lavender scent
calendula extract - helps optimize moisture and helps support natural ph of flora
apple cider vinegar extract - can kill bacteria and help with odor
foaming apple - gentle anionic cleanser
leucidal sf complete - mild preservative
Substitutions;
substituting ingredients will change the final feel, viscosity, and overall effect of final product. percentages and formulating procedure may need to change with substitutions.
glycerin - 1,3 propanedial or propylene glycol.
xanthan gum soft - any xanthan gum, siligel, crothix
rose water - any hydrosol or essence water or leave out
lavender water - any hydrosol or essence water or leave out
calendula extract - chamomile extract or any other extract of choice or leave out.
ACV extract - any other extract of choice or leave out.
foaming apple - coco glucoside, decyl glucoside, plantapon LGC sorb, AOS 40, coco betaine
leucidal sf compete - liquid germall plus, euxyl PE 9010, or optiphen plus
