Tightening Blueberry Facial Serum

This serum can help tighten the skin and can help slow down skin aging by decades. Formulated with blueberry essence to give it a light and natural blueberry scent and with some blueberry seed oil to moisturize the skin.
Formula;
phase A
4% 1,3 propanedial
phase B
20% - blueberry fruit essence
63% - distilled water
2% - pepha-tight
3% - regu-scence
5% - blueberry seed oil
phase C
Directions;
begin by weighing out the two ingredients in phase A and mix until combined.
add in the phase B ingredients (in any order)
then add in phase C ingredients. DO NOT MIX
let the ingredients from phase C sit on top of your formula for 8 hours
8 hours later, give everything a good mix and you are done
note; I diluted .1% sodium phytate in my distilled water and balanced the ph to 6. If you don't know what the purpose of the sodium phytate is then go back and read my blog on sodium phyate. Benefits/Purpose of each ingredient
propanedial - humectant to draw moisture into the skin. also used to solubilize euxyl PE 9010.
euxyl PE 9010 - broad spectrum preservative
blueberry fruit essence - gives serum a light natural blueberry scent
pepha-tight - It functions as a skin tightener which provides immediate tightening to the skin. It has been shown to protect human fibroblasts from oxidative stress, simultaneously increasing the formation of collagen-l thereby promoting a long term tightening effect through the strengthening of the skin's connective tissue.
regu-scence - combats two major signs of skin aging by giving the skin a firmer, thicker appearance. Provides skin aging prevention for 25+ and Rejuvenating intense care for 40+
blueberry seed oil - emollient. is a potent source of tocopherols, carotenoids and natural antioxidants. It is high in essential Omega 3 fatty acids, containing a high percentage of alpha linolenic acid.
hyaluronic acid ULMW - helps plump, hydrate, and make skin more youthful and healthy. HA is the natural gel between skin cells that serves as a water reservoir for the cells. As we age, skin loses hyaluronic acid and the ability to hold sufficient water in this reservoir. Feeding new hyaluronic acid to skin may help hydrate skin's inter-cellular reservoir, raising skin's moisture level, and smoothing down age lines.
sepimax zen - used as a gelling agent and emulsifier.
Substitutions;
propanedial 1,3 - glycerin
euxyl PE 9010 - liquid germall plus, optiphen, optiphen plus, and water soluble broad spectrum preservative
blueberry fruit essence - you can leave out or use a different fruit essence or hydrosol.
pepha-tight - no substitutes
regu-scence - no substitutes
blueberry seed oil - any other oil of choice
hyaluronic acid ULMW - any form of hyaluronic acid would work
sepimax zen - I believe you could use Sepinov EMT 10 instead, but have never tried it out. Any gelling ingredient would work here, just make sure it can emulsify oil as well.
