Selling Cosmetics...properly

None of the recipes/formulas I share on here are ready for sale. It is your job to properly test your products for stability and preservative efficiency before selling your products.

You can get $35 microbial tests here to make sure you have good manufacturing practice (GMP) This tests to see the amount of bacteria or fungus at the time of formulating which basically shows if you are formulating in a clean environment.

For a cheap preservative efficiency test you can, first do the microbial tests here then keep a product from that same batch and use it yourself like you normally would, and make sure it is kept for 6-12 months (however long you want your shelf life to be) then have it microbial tested again. This is a cheap way to do a preservative efficiency test. If you want a proper preservative efficiency test you can go here.
