Benefits/Purpose of each ingredient
SCI powder - is the main ingredient needed to make bath whips. creates a very rich and creamy lather.
cocamidopropyl betaine - helps with lather and cleanses the skin. Used to dissolve the SCI into formula.
sodium lactate liquid - humectant that hydrates skin and helps harden bath whip
fss pumpkin powder - the fine, orange powder, smells exactly like pumpkin. Pumpkin gently removes dead skin cells and leaves skin smooth and glowing. has a faint scent of pumpkin to it. It is a rich source of gently exfoliating enzymes, antioxidants, beta carotene, and many other vitamins and mineral.
stearic acid - hardener and emulsifier
superscents pumpkin - will provide a scent and function to your cosmetic application. Pumpkin is packed with vitamins and minerals and soothes and moisturizes the skin. It can also act as an accelerator, helping the skin to absorb nutrients quickly. It can be found in anti‐aging formulas and initiates skin recovery from various types of damage.
liquid germall plus - preservative
Substitutions;
substituting ingredients will change the final feel, viscosity, and overall effect of final product. percentages and formulating procedure may need to change with substitutions.
SCI - no sub. SLSA might work, I've never tried it, but you will need to adjust ph
cocamidopropyl betaine - any other liquid surfactant (if it has a high ph the ph will need lowered)
sodium lactate liquid - glycerin or 1,3 propanedial (these won't help with hardening but works as humectants)
fss pumpkin powder - no sub but you can leave out.
stearic acid - might work with another emulsifier and hardener but have never tried it. You can try emulsifying wax NF or maybe ritamulse SCG.
superscents pumpkin - pumpkin fragrance oil or a different fragrance oil
liquid germall plus - optiphen plus or another broad spectrum preservative
