Formulated w/ Natural Ingredients.
Oil to Milk Cleanser Formula
5% Oliwax LC (INCI; Cetyl Palmitate, Sorbitan Palmitate, Sorbitan Olivate)
3% Montanov 68 MB (INCI; Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside)
Directions;
In a sanitized heat safe beaker, combine all the ingredients.
Cover and place in a water bath to melt everything together. (How to make a water bath: Fill a pan with about an inch of water and place it over your stove top on medium heat.)
Once everything is melted, remove from heat.
Let cool and pour in desired container. (I used a glass dropper bottle. A pump bottle would work great as well)
Benefits / Uses of Ingredients;
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride - emollient and helps break up makeup.
Oliwax LC (INCI; Cetyl Palmitate, Sorbitan Palmitate, Sorbitan Olivate) - thickener and helps break up and remove makeup.
Montanov 68 MB (INCI; Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside) - helps break up makeup and acts a bit as a thickener.
Polyglyceryl 3 Oleate - main ingredient to help remove makeup and leave a non greasy feel on skin.
Substitutes;
Keep in mind that these are just suggestions. Formula may not hold up as well, but may still hold up enough for DIY personal use. Use only cosmetic grade ingredients.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride - C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Squalane, Clear Jojoba Oil, Golden Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, or any other oil of choice.
Oliwax LC (INCI; Cetyl Palmitate, Sorbitan Palmitate, Sorbitan Olivate) - Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, or any wax or fatty acid or fatty alcohol or choice. (You can leave out and only use the Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride & Polyglyceryl 3 Oleate together.)
Montanov 68 MB (INCI; Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside) - Ritamulse SCG, Emulsifying Wax. (You can leave out and only use the Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride & Polyglyceryl 3 Oleate together.)
Polyglyceryl 3 Oleate - Cromollient SCE, PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polysorbate 80, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate
