Consider your Oils...

If you have dry skin, try using carrier oils high in oleic acid.

  • olive oil

  • macadamia nut oil

  • almond oil

  • avocado oil

  • argan oil

  • apricot kernel oil

  • jojoba oil

For those with oily/acne prone skin, try using carrier oils high in linoleic acid.

  • grapeseed oil

  • hempseed oil

  • safflower oil

  • sunflower oil

  • poppyseed oil

  • evening primrose oil

  • rosehip seed oil

Don't be scared to try your oils. Apply them to your skin directly, rub them in, see what you think of them and how quickly does it rub in? how does it leave your skin feeling? Does it feel heavy? Does it feel light? This is how you can get familiar with your oils and compare the differences. Find out what oils you like, that way you can choose the right oil to add into your products.
